Good evening , Ladies and Gentlemen. It is my great honor to be invited to take part in your seminar in Princeton University. Princeton University has been very familiar to me, my friends and many Chinese people. Its history is even longer than the country's history. Many outstanding figures come out of this famous university, like the 28th American president, great scientist Einstein, and the well-known poet T.S. Eliot. Just as the former American president Clinton once said at the 250 Anniversary of Princeton University, that Princeton University and its staff and students play a critical role at every crucial moment in American history. It is delightful that everyone present here takes interest in studying Chinese affairs. Despite the long distance between the two countries in geography, we have a lot of similarities in our daily life. The Hollywood film's McDonald's fast food has become the daily contents of many Chinese people, and China-made clothes and products are also exported to the American people. I hope that today's exchange can help everyone present here to know more about China and Chinese diplomacy, and promote mutual friendship and cooperation between the countries in the future.
