There were 60 copies of the questionnaire distributed to the Chinese graduates according to the directory of the Chinese Student Association by interpost in the university and 13 copies were delivered to the Swedish students with at least one year of Chinese language studies at the Department of East and Southeast Asian Languages and the Center for East and Southeast Asian Studies in the same university by the author.

On the Chinese side，unfortunately，the mistakes in the directory，e.g.，some students have left the school but their names are still in the directory，caused a smaller range of the investigation than expected.Of the all distributed copies，30 were completed and returned by the target students from the Chinese side whereas 9 copies were completed and returned by the target students from the Swedish side.

Therefore，the response rate from the Chinese side is 50% and that from the Swedish side is 70%.
